Our Red Panda

Our red pandas are a key part to the day to day life here at the sanctuary. Without these friendly little plant eaters, we wouldnt have quite so much fun around here! Currently our red panda habitat is home to only one special panda, our 12 year old Sauron. This little guy is living some of the best years of his life in comfort. He enjoys kicking back with a nice leaf and a quiet photoshoot (as long as it shows off his good angles!). Sauron was surrendered as a "pet" in February of 2020, and had very little chance of being released back in to the wild. He is expected to live out his life at the day Lily Sanctuary, and couldn't be happier about it!
